National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP)
Caring for someone day in and day out without a break is likely to take a toll on your physical and emotional health. Taking a break (or respite) is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and the person you care for. The National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP) allows carers of older people and people with disabilities to have a break to look after their own health and well-being, with the comfort of knowing that their dependants are well looked after.Read more: National Respite for Carers Program
Consumer Directed Respite Care (CDRC)
Consumer (or self) Directed Respite Care (CDRC) allows carers to take a break from their caring role and will give carers a greater say and more control over the design and delivery of respite services provided to them and the person/s they care for.Read more: Consumer Directed Respite Care (CDRC)
