Common question
| Question: | I'm not confident talking with people when it might be a difficult or complex conversation. Is there anyone who can support me if I have a concern about an aged care home? |
| Answer: | Aged Care Advocacy Services (more information) can help you understand the information you receive and speak to the service provider on your behalf. If you prefer not to discuss a matter of concern with the home, or the situation cannot be resolved, contact the National Aged Care Advocacy Line on 1800 700 600. If you do not want to raise your concern with the Approved Provider or don’t get an outcome you are satisfied with, the Aged Care Complaints Scheme can help. Visit the Aged Care Complaints Scheme website or call 1800 550 552 for more information. |
