Common question

Question: I really can't manage at home any more. What can I do?
Answer: There are many reasons that you might be feeling like this. It is worth talking to your doctor first, to see if there is a medical cause. The Commonwealth Carelink Centres can provide you with information about the types of care services available in your area. If you need a more comprehensive assessment, the GP or Carelink Centre can refer you to an ACAT, who will look at all aspects of how you are managing and recommend the types of care services, either in the community or in an aged care home, that best meets those care needs.
