| Question: | Do you pay fees before you move into an aged care home? |
| Answer: | You are entitled to take up to seven days pre-entry leave before you move into an aged care home. You will be eligible to pay fees for this periios. Aged care homes cannot require application fees, donations or administrative fees before entry. If a home asks for a payment before you enter the home as a resident, contact the Aged Care Complaints Investigation Scheme on free call 1800 550 552.
