Common question
| Question: | I've looked after Dad since Mum died, but now he is going to an aged care home. Will they do everything for him? |
| Answer: | Although the staff of the home will provide care and social activities your father will still need you to support him. Buying clothes and toiletries, visiting and helping with various business matters may be some of the ways you will still be involved. If this is too difficult for you and you would prefer not to be involved in your dad's care talk to the State Guardianship and Administration Tribunal for advice.
