Common question

Question: Some homes advertise 'dementia specific' care. What does this mean?
Answer: All homes must cater for people with dementia, but some homes set aside particular areas and/or provide special programs for residents with dementia. You can search for homes that have specific facilities or programs for people with dementia on the website.
Next steps: Find a home using the Aged Care Home Finder
