Common question
| Question: | I need an insulin injection twice daily and the home says I have to pay for the nurse to come and do this. Is that right? |
| Answer: | No. The home must ensure that your clinical needs are met, whether you are high-level care or low-level care, so there should be no cost to you if you need nursing care. You can be asked to pay for the insulin and if you are low-level care you can be asked to pay for the needles and syringes. Read more: About care and services you can expect. |
