Help with aged care homes

Common question

Question: What care and services should all homes provide at no cost to residents?
Answer: All Australian Government subsidised aged care homes must provide a range of care and services for residents, at no additional cost. This includes such things as furnishings, beds, bedding, meals, laundry, assistance with day to day tasks (such as bathing, dressing, moving around, toileting, etc). For high level care residents homes must also provide such things as incontinence aids, podiatry and physiotherapy if required.
