Qualifying service

Qualifying service is one of the criteria used by the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) to determine whether you are eligible for a service pension. Qualifying service may also be a factor in determining a person's eligibility to be provided with medical treatment, or to receive a pharmaceutical benefits card or a senior's health care card.
